In the third quarter of 2024, the food delivery app landscape in Oceania on the Android platform displayed diverse performance patterns. According to Sensor Tower data, the top five apps in this category were BWS, DoorDash - Food Delivery, Uber Eats: Food Delivery, Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery, and Menulog AU | Food Delivery.

BWS saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting strong with over 21K but gradually declining to about 6.1K by the end of September. Their active user base showed a similar trend, peaking at over 55K mid-quarter before dropping to around 41K by the quarter's close.

DoorDash - Food Delivery maintained a fairly stable performance in active users, beginning at approximately 405K and ending with over 441K. Weekly downloads experienced a downward trend, starting at around 16.8K and ending at approximately 11.4K.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery began the quarter with 7.8K downloads, reaching a peak of 18.7K in mid-September before ending at 10.4K. Active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating slightly but showing an overall increase from 457K to 458K.

Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery experienced moderate growth in downloads, starting at 4.4K and peaking at 5.3K by mid-September. Active users increased from 180K at the beginning of July to nearly 198K by the end of September.

Finally, Menulog AU | Food Delivery showed a slight decline in both downloads and active users over the quarter. Downloads began at 4.1K, tapering to 3.8K, while active users decreased from 45K to about 40.5K.
